PREVENTION OF OXIDATION
The harmful ultra violet rays of sun has a negative oxidizing effect on asphalt pavements. The oxidized pavement first will become grey then it will cause the binders to crack and later to detoriate. The oxidizing effect with the help of the weather conditions will cause the asphalt pavement to loose its properties and service capabilities in much shorter period of time.
